The SImple Seerah (Part 2)

Written by: Asim Khan and Toyris Miah

Illustrated by: Anisa Mohammed

After the missions and challenges in Part 1 of the Seerah, the Prophet has no choice but to migrate to Madinah, where he can escape from the persecution of the Quraysh. Although the Prophet lays a new foundation and builds a new life, there are sneaky hypocrites who try to cause problems for the Prophet and the Muslims. The Quraysh are also full of rage, and they continue to plot against the Prophet (PBUH).

Reading this book felt like I had time-travelled to Madinah, and there were many heartfelt moments in the story where I felt sad for the Prophet and his followers.

I loved the beginning of the story where a bedouin near Madinah described the Prophet to her husband in such a way where I could picture the beloved(PBUH) standing in front of me.

I found this book very captivating to read so much so that it was hard to put the book down. Although I have read many books on the Seerah, I have never read anything as engaging as the Simple Seerah.

Overall, this book is one of the best Seerah books for young adults and kids. Each chapter contained a whirlwind of emotions and feelings that touched the heart.

I enjoyed this book very much and can’t wait to get my hands on Part 3, which will be published soon, Insha Allah.
