This early chapter book is filled with exciting mysteries, super detectives, and lots and LOTS of trouble. When the madrassah’s pet gerbil goes missing, four determined students, Zacky, Zaynah, Sana and Tariq go on a mission, to find the missing gerbil. Collecting clues and brainstorming, the four detectives get together to think of suspects that could’ve snatched the poor gerbil in discreet, but sometimes, things got really messy!

This book was very funny and interesting, filled with tons of mysteries and mayhem. It was all the trouble in the story that kept me glued to the book. I couldn’t wait to find out what would happen in each chapter. It was a very fun read, and had many important morals throughout the story .

This story teaches us to never jump to conclusions or think bad about others. The characters were very funny and they were brilliant detectives, but they went a bit too far, jumping to conclusions and accusing whoever they could think of. And it was a great lesson to learn.

I read this story with my mum, and we giggled throughout the whole book!
