The Ali Series

Author: Farheen Khan @farheenwrites
Illustrator: Evgeniya Erokhina

The Ali series is based on the adventures of Ali, a nine year old boy who finds trouble in every adventure and experience he has.

⭐Book 1: Ali and the gladiators.

Ali’s teacher has given the class assignment to write about ancient Rome. Ali thinks writing is pretty boring, so he decides to make his assignment more interesting. However, things don’t go exactly as he planned and he ends up in a big mess.

⭐Book 2: Ali and the zoo escape.

Ali and his classmates are going on a zoo trip. During the trip, an animal has escaped and causes trouble everywhere. Ali and his best friend try to find the creature, but that only leads to a bigger, wilder chaos.

⭐Book 3: Ali and the Eid goat.

Ali feels bored and wishes for a pet. His parents surprise him with a trip to Pakistan and Ali chooses his very own Eid goat. As he experiences the culture and explores the country, Ali finds himself in a big mayhem.

⭐Book 4: Ali and the Alps

Ali and his best friend go with Ali’s dad to the Alps. Ali and his friend enjoy herding sheep and meet Peter, who is a shepherd. While things get busy, Ali wanders off through the hills and into the forest, and danger soon follows behind.

⭐Book 5: Ali and the Invention

Convention

Ali thinks he will win at the school’s Invention Convention, but his pride to win leads to hurting his best friend’s feelings and they stay mad at each other for a long time. Ali begins to invent something all by himself without his friend’s help and worries whether their friendship will ever live.

I love the friendship between Ali and his best friend, and I absolutely adore his wild imagination. The trouble and commotion that he caused made each story more fun and exciting.

My two favourite books were Ali and the Invention Convention and Ali and the Alps because of the big, rolling adventures it contained.

With epic surprises that burst out of each book, I’m sure the Ali Series will definitely become a family favourite!
