The Runaway Biscuits

The smell of the sweet biscuits in the oven drifted
up the stairs. Within seconds, everyone gathered
around the table. As Mum reached for the biscuits,
they jumped out of the oven. “Come back!” cried
Mum.
Soon there was a terrible racket in the kitchen. The
girl took the hammer trying to bang and crush
them. The boy threw clothes over them but the
biscuits danced in and out of them.
“Freeze right there!” shouted Dad bursting in the
kitchen spraying a water gun. The biscuits jumped
out of the window. As they ran, a hungry dog
snapped them up.
